Hello and welcome to one Voice of
Many! I'm Susie, and I'm a survivor of domestic violence and child abuse,
mother of five grown children and nineteen grandchildren. I'm married
to a wonderful man, who has shown me a life without abuse is truly
possible.
I'm an avid
reader and most enjoy Poetry. I like to work on my home made crafts and
often sell them at bazaars and flea markets. I love to create things! My
favorite color is blue, like the sky. I'm an animal lover at heart, and
would take them all in if I could.
What I love the most is playing and cuddling with my
grandchildren.They bring such joy into my life! My children are spread out
in various different states, so that makes it hard to see all of them as
often as I would like to.
I have suffered from
depression most of my life. Now with therapy, medications and tons of
support from my family, life's began to look bright
again.
Four years ago I
didn't own a computer or even know what a web page was, then my husband
got me the most wonderful gift, a laptop computer. After several
frustrating weeks of learning and the encouragement of my friends and
family{Especially my son and husband} I began my quest of building a web
site.This has opened up a whole new world to me. I've met lots of new
friends and have gotten involved in many online
activities.
My site is dedicated
to six of my grandchildren who have fallen victim to domestic violence and
child abuse. It contains stories, poems, links to resources on help or
education on domestic violence, child abuse and depression. My site speaks
out against domestic violence and child abuse! Please come back and
