Sparky's Memorial

Sparky was my 12 year old companion. He was a victim of abuse. When I came upon Sparky. He was cold, wet dirty and very sick. You couldn't even tell what kind of dog he was.

In desperate need of something to love and cuddle home he went! I cleaned him up, took him to the vet. We nearly lost him several times in the first months. The vet said he had been neglected and abused very badly.

During the next few months we became such good friends. The more love I showed, the more Love he gave. He was so smart! He'd guard the Grandchildren and even pull the blanket over them at night. He would put his little paw to my cheek when I cried.

I named him Sparky because he put the Spark back into my life. He had a keen sense of my emotions and knew just what to do to keep me going, more than most people. I could have bought a dog from a pet store but I believe the Angels put the two of us together to mend our broken souls.

Said Mamma.Out, Help and Home alone
Sang with the radio {Liked doo wop}
Gave Kisses
Played with stuffed teddy bears
Posed and smiled for the camera
Loved me and made me feel needed

Sadly on February 18th, 2007 Sparky passed away.
He will be grealty missed.
